What ingredients do we use for the couscous recipe with vegetables and tomato juice?

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

I chose boiled potatoes, which are full, bell peppers and tomatoes, which in combination give a special taste to the salad. And now let's move on to the preparation method:

We will wash all the vegetables, remove the seeds, then dry them with paper towels. After we have peeled the potatoes, we will boil them in water with a little salt. We clean and wash the onion, then we will cut it with fish scales, but not too thick. We will do the same with the peppers, and we will cut them into thin pieces, with a medium length. We will cut the goat cheese into cubes, and we will cut boiled eggs into thin slices. We will do the same with the tomatoes, and the potatoes, after they have cooled, will cut them into small and thin slices. (follow the pictures posted on the work stages). We prepare a bowl in which we put the potatoes, then the slices of pepper.

I have often made this Spanish recipe for tortilla al horno or baked omelette with cheese, sausages, potatoes and other vegetables, especially for evenings spent with friends or family. It is a fine snack that can be easily sliced ​​and served both hot and cold.

I do not go into details about the Spanish tortilla with potatoes and eggs that can be prepared in many variants, they differ from one region to another. It can be fried in a pan (then it has a circular shape) or it can be baked in a rectangular tray in the oven. "Baked" means "in the oven". Breakfast tortilla - what else can we use for the filling?

Considering that we practically have four quarters of tortilla that we have to "fill", I propose some nice combinations:

  • cottage cheese + honey on a quarter, then on the other chocolate cream with hazelnuts, banana slices, strawberry slices
  • natural cream cheese, liver pate, tomato slices, grated cheese
  • peanut butter, slices of caspune, strawberry jam, cream cheese

Ingredients for 6 servings of Breakfast Tortilla:

Divide the tortilla visually into 4 quarters and make a single cut, in half.

Fold the tortilla into 4, following the cut I made initially.

Fry the tortilla for breakfast in a pan greased with a little olive oil or fry it on the grill.


Potato and pepper stew

Cook the onion in a saucepan in hot oil over medium heat until soft, then add the garlic. Let them cook together for a few minutes.

Add the bell pepper slices, reduce the heat and cover with a lid. Let the peppers cook for 10 minutes until soft.

Add the tomatoes and potatoes, season with salt and pepper and simmer for almost 1 hour. Along the way, add the concentrated vegetable soup. It may not be necessary at all, depending on how juicy the tomatoes were. You don't want to have a soup in the end instead of a stewed sauce for stew.

Serve hot stew with toast.

Because we are fasting, I inquired and looked for a recipe with vegetables. I found it in an older magazine, the recipe is very light and does not require special ingredients.
